    يدرس هذا البحث الخطاب العنصري للفصل في مسرحية "زبيبة في الشمس" للکاتبة لوريان هانسبيري حيث يتم تحليل المسرحية من خلال: اتجاه اجتماعي ادراکي للأيديولوجي. في هذه المسرحية تمثل "الزبيبة" العائلات الامريکية السوداء التي تعيش تحت شمس العنصريين البيض. و يهتم البحث أساسا بالعلاقة بين العنصرية و الخطاب و الأيديولوجية حيث يعتبر حالة مناسبة للتحليل النقدي للخطاب. فهو يوضح ان الخطاب هو الطريقة التي من خلالها يتم استخدام و اصدار العديد من الممارسات المختلفة للفصل و العنصرية والقمع القومي. و يتم تحليل الخطاب بالنظر الى السياق الاجتماعي لانتاجه و فهمه عن طريق الأفراد کأعضاء في المجموعات الاجتماعية أو المؤسسات أو التنظيمات. و هکذا فهو يبحث الأيديولوجية العنصرية من منظور اجتماعي ادراکي. و في ذلک فأنه يختار الاطار النظري التالي: الخطاب العنصري الظاهري و الخطاب العنصري المستتر. سوف يعرض الخطاب العنصري الظاهري تسمية المفردات و الضمائر. اما الخطاب العنصري المستتر فسوف يتناول النحو و المفردات والمعاني العالمية و المعاني المحلية و الترکيبات التخطيطية. يبين البحث انه على الرغم من انکار الأشخاص العنصريين لعنصريتهم حتى يبدوا في مظهر الأخوه المتسامحين بينما هم يحاولوا فصل الأقلية السود. الا انهم لن يستمروا بدون معارضة هکذا الى الابد وهذا هو الهدف الرئيسي للبحث حيث انه يعرف السود باستراتيجيات النقاش التي يستخدمها البيض لفصلهم کخارجيين عن المجموعات. و بهذا سوف يصبح السود قادريين على مقاومتهم.
