The present study aimed at investigating the prevalence of social phobia among students of Kindergarten College and investigating the effectiveness of psychological freedom technique in reducing social phobia. The Social Phobia Scale (prepared by the researcher) was applied on a 3rd year sample of 137 female students aged between 19-21 years old (time age mean= 20.69, SD= 2.76), and the Psychological Freedom Technique Program (prepared by the researcher) was applied on the treatment sample (17 Female students). The results showed that: 1) social phobia was common among students (19.5 %) and that many of the research sample students were experiencing social phobia. 2) The Psychological freedom technique was effective in reducing social phobia among Kindergarten college students.
