Abstract

 
The research problem has been identified in the following main question: What is the developed course in environmental sciences for student  teachers of the Social Studies at Faculty of Education, Port Said University, in the hight of the interdisciplinary entrance to develop their deep understanding?
 Research Methodology: The current research relied on the experimental approach with its semi-experimental design, where the pre and post measurement of one group.
 The research sample is a group of student teachers in the first academic year in the Social Studies Department at the Faculty of Education, Port Said University, Their number is (45) male and female student teachers  in the academic year 2022-2023 AD.
 research limits
 1- deep understanding skills such as: (analysis - synthesis - decision making),
2- the emotional aspect of deep understanding, such as (Self-appriciation, society and the environment).
 Research tools: Deep understanding skills test - a measure of the dimensions of the emotional aspect of deep understanding .
research results: The researcher reached the effectiveness of the developed course and academic environmental projects for students teachers in the Social Studies Division of the Faculty of Education, Port Said University, according to Interdisciplinary entrance in the development of cognitive skills and the emotional dimensions of deep understanding, and this appeared in the statistical results that verified the satisfaction of the research.
