يهدف البحث الحالي إلي دراسة وتقييم العوامل الخمسة الکبرى للشخصية، وذلک من خلال تقييم العوامل الخمسة للشخصية، بأداتين من أدوات قياسها، وهي قائمة العوامل الخمسة للشخصية، وقائمة الخمس الکبرى، وکذلک دراسة الخصائص السيکومترية للقائمتين، وذلک لدى طلاب الجامعة. وتمثلت مشکلة البحث الحالي في التساؤل التالي: هل توجد فروق بين قائمة العوامل الخمسة للشخصية، وقائمة الخمس الکبرى، في تقييم العوامل الخمسة للشخصية؟ ولتحقيق هذا الهدف قامت الباحثة، بتقنين قائمة العوامل الخمسة للشخصية، وقائمة الخمس الکبرى. وخاصة بين طلاب الجامعة. وتکونت عينة الدراسة من ٥٣٧ طالبا وطالبة (٤٤٦من الاناث و٩١ من الذکور) من طلاب کلية التربية جامعة قناة السويس. وقد عرضت الدراسات السابقة من خلال خمسة محاور وهي: دراسة عن نظرية السمات، ودراسة عن نموذج العوامل الخمسة للشخصية، ودراسة عن قياس العوامل الخمسة الکبرى للشخصية، ودراسة عن قائمة العوامل الخمسة للشخصية، ودراسة عن قائمة الخمس الکبري. أما نتائج البحث فکانت کالتالي: - توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين قائمة العوامل الخمسة للشخصية، وبين قائمة الخمس الکبرى في بعد العصابية لدي عينة من طلاب الجامعة. توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين قائمة العوامل الخمسة للشخصية، وبين قائمة الخمس الکبرى في بعد الانبساطية لدي عينة من طلاب الجامعة.
- توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين قائمة العوامل الخمسة للشخصية، وبين قائمة الخمس الکبرى في بعد القبول/المقبولية لدي عينة من طلاب الجامعة.
- توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين قائمة العوامل الخمسة للشخصية، وبين قائمة الخمس الکبرى في بعد الانفتاح على الخبرة لدي عينة من طلاب الجامعة.
- توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين قائمة العوامل الخمسة للشخصية، وبين قائمة الخمس الکبرى في بعد الضمير لدي عينة من طلاب الجامعة.
