Abstract

The problem of the study is about the role of Shaqraa University in developing security awareness of the female students. The study aimed to identify the role of the courses, faculty members and university activities in Shaqraa University in developing the security awareness of its female students. It aimed also to identify the extent of statistically significant differences in the responses of the study samples to the degree of study themes attributed to the personal variables; in preparation for setting a proposed vision for the role of Shaqraa University in developing the security awareness of its female students. The survey descriptive approach was used for the study. The study was conducted on a sample of female students of Shaqraa University consisting of (319) students. The data were collected by means of a questionnaire that was subjected to the standards of validity and consistency. The study reached several results, of which the key were the tendency of the sample responses to (agree) on the statements mentioned in the theme: the role of courses in Shaqraa University in developing the security awareness of female students. The study showed the tendency of the sample responses to (agree) to the statements in the theme of the role of faculty members at Shaqraa University in developing the security awareness of its female students. It showed also the tendency of the sample responses to (neutral) on the statements in the theme of the role of university activities in Shaqraa University in developing the security awareness of its female students. At the end of the study, a proposal was developed about the role of Shaqraa University in developing the security awareness of its female students.
