An Evaluation study for The program of Early Intervention Specialists in the field of Early childhood Special Education in Egypt

Abstract

  The categories of children with special needs are considered to be one of the most important categories of society to be cared for and nurtured, as they have rights recognized by other international, regional and local conventions. The sector of preparing workers in the care of children with special needs is an important input in educational work in the field of special education Early intervention, which is the first step and the best investment in the care of people with special needs, as the preparation of human cadres in this area is the first step of educational care to minimize the negative effects of Disability.
STUDY PROBLEM:
   In view of the large scarcity and increasing demand for qualified staff to work with young people with special needs and their families, the preparation of early intervention services for people with special needs in early childhood has become a special challenge for pre-service teacher education programs. Which is offered by the Faculty of Kindergarten Alexandria University as the only course offered at the level of all Egyptian universities in the field of early intervention
The problem of the current study can therefore be framed in the following questions
-What are the most important global trends in the development of early intervention specialists in early childhood special education
-What is the reality of the preparation of early intervention specialist in the field of special education for early childhood
-What professional competencies should be included in the Early Childhood Early Childhood Early Childhood Specialists Program
-What is the proposed scenario for upgrading the program of early intervention specialist in the field of special education for early childhood
