Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the training needs of mathematics teachers at elementary school in the State of Kuwait regarding classroom management and activities. The study sample consists of 198 elementary school mathematics teachers. The study adopted a questionnaire that consists of a demographic data for the participants (years of experience, academic degree, and school district) and 32 items representing classroom management and activities, 16 items for each. The results of the study showed that elementary mathematics teachers in the State of Kuwait need training in classroom management and activities. The study also showed that there are statistically significant differences between the responses of the participants for both the classroom management and activities items in school district, in favor of Hawali schools district.
