Attitudes of Field Training Students in Jordanian Universities towards Teaching Disabilities

Abstract

 
The present study aims to study the Attitudes of field training students in Jordanian universities towards the teaching of students with special needs. Therefore، the study is trying to achieve the detection of the attitudes of students in the field training by teaching towards individuals with special needs in order to increase their emotional and social acceptance، Services provided to them and improves educational، social، health and professional programs. And to identify Attitudes associated with the field training institution or the field training students themselves. It also aims to recommend to the concerned parties to pay attention to the subject of teaching for field training students if it is found to be related to persons with disabilities. The nature of the study required the use of the curriculum.
The most important results of the study were differences in the arithmetical averages in the attitudes of students towards people with disabilities due to the gender variable. There is no statistically significant difference in the attitudes of the field training students in Jordanian universities toward teaching the disabled due to the university variable. A statistically significant difference in the attitudes of field training students in Jordanian universities towards teaching people with disabilities according to the gender variable.
