Effectiveness of the Fink model for the development of lateral thinking in mathematics among 8th grade students in the State of Kuwait

Abstract

The study aimed at developing the skills of lateral thinking in mathematics among the intermediate students in Kuwait using the Fink model.The study used the semi-empirical approach.The study found the following results: There were no statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the average scores of tribal application to test lateral thinking skills. There were statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the intermediate degree of post-application to test lateral thinking skills, which are differences in favor of the experimental group that studied the subjects of Module 6 through the Fink model. There were no statistically significant differences between students in the remote application to test lateral thinking.
