Educational Competencies of The Teachers in The Adult Educational Centers in Kuwait from The Viewpoint of The Learners

Abstract

    This study aimed to identify the educational competencies among teachers of adult education centers. It included a sample of (662) male and female students from The Secondary Stage in all of The Educational Areas in Kuwait, The study tool is a questionnaire, the following results were concluded: The three competencies were moderate in terms of availability, No differences in the three competencies in light of the variable                     of nationality, Differences exist between males and females in the three competencies in favor of males. There are other differences related to the educational areas in favor of  Hawally, Al- Ahmadi and  Al- Jahra Educational Areas. There are also differences related to the variable of the educational stage in favor of the twelfth grade "literary".  There are differences as well as in relation to the educational stage in favor of the students who spent 7-9 years in The Adult Educational Centers according to their cognitive skills. There are also other differences with regard to the purpose of studying in these centers in favor of those whose goal was only to get the high school certificate. Finally, there are differences related to the students' age variable in favor of older  ages in the three competencies.
