Abstract

The present study aimed at measuring the effect and continuous effectiveness of a behavioral therapy program that has been applied individually in reducing the severity of ( Echolalia )  in autistic children.The study sample consisted of (8) children with autism disorder who ranged in age between (8-12 years). IQ ranges from 69 to 74 on the Goddard intelligence test, and an average level of intimacy on the Gilliam scale for autistic child diagnosis.The researcher used the following tools: [Gilliam Scale for Diagnosis of Autism (Prepared by Mohamed El Sayed Abdel Rahman, Mona Khalifa, 2004), Juddard's IQ test (Researcher preparation)] in addition to the individual behavioral therapy program for children with autism disorder (researcher preparation)The most important results of the research resulted in the effectiveness and continued effectiveness of the individual behavioral therapy program in Speech Recognition ( Echolalia ) in children with autism disorder.
