Abstract

 
       Discover the leadership traits on a sample of kindergarten children - second stage in the Capital Educational District  in the State of Kuwait :  quantitative research, using an observation approach
This research aims to discover  the leadership traits on a sample of kindergarten children – second stage in the Capital Educational District in the State of Kuwait ,to fulfill this aim the researchers determine the research problem and its questions as the follows , what is the percentage of children who have leadership traits in children sample ? What degree of availability of these  traits have children candidates sample  of the research? What leadership trait that most prominent candidates in children sampled ?What is the impact of the sex element on provided leadership traits .the researchers design the research tool which is an observation checklist contained on the measurement  of five leadership traits to be tested , cooperative , initiative , intelligence, language fluency and boldness  - The research sample was a six kindergarten schools, chosen randomly from the Capital Educational District - The  results revealed  that:(1) The percentage of children that obtained leadership traits of the research sample are 7.3% .(2) The overall average for all leadership traits is 4.19 which considered high in general . (3) Fluency trait come in first place among the five traits in term of availability in the sample of children .( 4) There is no statistically significant at 0.05 level of the differences between males and females in the availability of the leadership traits . In the light of the research finding , some recommendations were offered .
