The current study aimed to identify the nature of contribution of personality disorder with anxiety pattern (avoidance, dependence and obsessiveness) in predicting some social skills (emotional expression, social sensitivity, social expression and social sensitivity) in the light of some demographic variables such as gender, education level, marital status and whether, or not, the respondent is a regular visitors for the psychological centers. The sample of the study consisted of 309 individual to whom the social skill scale (SSI) and the scale of the personality disorder with anxiety pattern were conducted. The results of the first hypothesis indicated that there is no statistically significant differences between male and female respondents in the averages of each of the total score differences in the SSI as well as the averages in the personality disorder scale in the light of the demographic variables, which were utilized in this study. The results of the second hypothesis revealed that regular visitors of psychological centers are characterized by a lack of emotional expression and social expression skills, Also there was no variance in personality disorders between regular visitors for the psychological centers and non-visitors. The results of the third hypothesis unfolded that (avoidant personality) can statistically predict the lack of social skills and social expression. Dependent personality can statistically predict the availability of height social skills and the skill of social expression. the obsessive personality had no predictive ability of the social skills and their sub-dimensions.
