Abstract

This research seeks to reveal the overlapping formula in the artistic styles within the play "The Night of the Great Guevara's Death" by Mikhail Roman, and the writer’s use of these methods, in order to achieve his aesthetic and intellectual goals. The research reveals the extent to which the writer approaches these methods and sometimes distances himself from them.
The researcher used the descriptive analytical method to study the techniques used by the writer, and the way he employs these techniques to achieve his aesthetic and intellectual goals.
The researcher divided his study into two sections, the first of which is a theoretical one, in which the researcher reviewed the two main schools that had the greatest influence in the play, namely: the Pirandello School and the Brecht School, for the second topic, it is an applied one, which is based on analyzing the play, and extracting the extent of the writer's influence on the two schools, and the way he employs their techniques.
The researcher reached a number of results that reveal the nature of the writer's employment of theater techniques within the theater, and epic alienation.
