Proceeding from the importance of e-learning in improving university education and opportunities to join it, the current research aimed to reveal the role of E-Learning in strengthening equality in Egyptian university education opportunities in light of some contemporary global challenges. The research problem was represented in the following main question: What is the role of e-learning in strengthening the equality of opportunities for Egyptian university education in light of some contemporary global challenges? To achieve this, the researchers presented a conceptual framework for E-learning and a conceptual framework for equal educational opportunities, and then the most important contemporary global challenges that constitute a framework for the work environment of university E-learning were presented, such as: political challenges, economic competition, and scientific and cultural challenges. The research also presented the role of E-learning in supporting and providing university education opportunities, and the research concluded by presenting some proposals to activate the Egyptian university e-learning within the framework of maintaining the principle of equal educational opportunities, the most important of which are: seeking to create platforms for university education management systems, expanding university and laboratories projects The expansion of free E-learning programs (lifelong learning), the expansion of on-demand E-learning programs, the issuance of legislation that facilitates the spread of university e-education in traditional and virtual universities in order to preserve the continuity of strengthening the principle of equal educational opportunities at all levels.
