The missing aspects in Educational Leadership research

Abstract

This paper depeands upon some observations in The field of Educational Leadership research, besides some Readings in Masters Thesis and Doctoral disertations, and  aLecture in the same subject deliverd to doctoral students.
There are ereas which neglected in research, Maybe because of defficults, and need of time and effort, I will discuss it as follows.
1-The absence of cencetration on the leadership pattern between, ethical, transformational, administrative, strategic and distributive leadership, there is overlapping but the the distinction of each type is ambigoues.
2- Researchers ignore the selection issue, wich is important in leadership research.
3-The absence of interdisiplenary approach, educational Administration and leadership could be considered as applied research affected by other diseplines.
4- The translation issues, translation needs two languishes at least, Knowing the field of educational  Administration and leadership, and its terminology and the Arabic languishes of cours.
5- collecting data in most research depend of on questinare, the absence of observations and interviews, in Educational leadership research to be accurate we need interviews and obsernations.
6- there is some gabs in the field whid should be address.
The strategic gap.
The Knowledge gap.
The performance gap.
7- Research in metheds of teching leadership is rare.
8- research in the relationship between Leadership styles and size of Organizations and other variables.
The paper ended by recommendataions and conclusions.
