Most universities in all countries of the world have sought to develop their outputs in line with the global labor market, and the shift towards world-class universities has become inevitable in light of the acceleration and expansion of knowledge.
There is no doubt that global changes have put great pressure on universities, and the greatest role has been placed on them to advance society and move it from the realm of local competition to global competition. Society, and strategic alliances between universities are considered one of the strategies that universities may contribute to achieving that goal, taking into account that what is more important than forming strategic alliances between universities is how to manage them so that they return successfully to the benefit of weaker universities, and therefore there must be a strong university leadership capable of Building strong strategic alliances and then managing them successfully until they achieve the desired results.
