The study aimed to explore the extent to which faculty members at the College of Education, Kuwait University, apply the gamification strategy in teaching course materials. The study sample included 72 faculty members from various academic departments. This study adopted the descriptive survey method, and the researchers developed a study instrument consisting of two main areas: (gamification and the educational aspect, gamification and motivation). The instrument also included demographic information about the faculty members, such as gender, academic rank, and academic department. The study's results revealed that the degree to which faculty members at the College of Education applied the gamification strategy was moderate. The application degree was also moderate when examining the application of the gamification strategy in relation to the two areas of the educational aspect and motivation. Moreover, when considering gender, academic rank, and academic department, the results indicated no statistically significant differences in the two areas (educational and motivation). Based on these findings, the researchers provided several recommendations, most notably the importance of training faculty members at the College of Education, Kuwait University, on applying the gamification strategy in their curricula and courses, as well as raising awareness among faculty members about some gamification-based features available in the electronic programs provided by the university.
