The study aimed to identify Kuwait University gifted students` awareness of the importance of art education. The descriptive approach was used. A questionnaire was applied about the awareness of the gifted students of Kuwait University of the importance of art education. To achieve the objectives of the study, arithmetic means, standard deviations, and a T-test were used. The study sample included (697) of students enrolled in all Kuwait University colleges for the first academic semester during the academic year (2022-2023). The results of this study indicated that the level of of gifted students` awareness of the importance of art education was high, and that there were statistically significant differences in favor of vocational colleges versus scientific colleges at Kuwait University. The study made some recommendations, including providing training programs and workshops for university students to make them aware of the importance of art education, providing them with the experiences and knowledge to discover their talents and refine their personalities, and conducting more future studies on the obstacles to implementing artistic activities from the perspective of university faculty members.
