Abstract

The research dealt with a topic entitled "A Foresighted Vision for Employing Artificial Intelligence Applications in the Educational Environment", and to achieve this goal, two types of descriptive approaches were used; namely: the survey approach and the comparative analysis approach. The research procedures began with reaching: a theoretical framework for the foundations of the forward-looking vision and artificial intelligence applications, then preparing the research tools, which were represented in: examination cards for artificial intelligence applications, its tools and platforms, and a questionnaire to determine the benefits of these applications in the educational environment in preparation for formulating the forward-looking vision for employing artificial intelligence applications in the educational environment. Then reaching the research results, which resulted in: identifying the nature of artificial intelligence applications, and identifying the similarities and differences between them, and the positives and negatives in them; in light of the comparison criteria (comparative analysis frameworks), which are: the goal of each application, platform or tool, and the components of each; and then determining the benefits of these applications in the educational environment. Then a set of recommendations and proposed research were reached.
