Attitudes of students at the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at King Faisal University towards the use of artificial intelligence applications in reciting the Holy Quran

The research aims to identify the attitudes of students at the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at King Faisal University towards the use of artificial intelligence (AI) applications in Quran recitation, and to understand the obstacles to using these applications in Quran recitation. To achieve the study's objectives, the researcher adopted a descriptive analytical approach and prepared a questionnaire to measure attitudes towards the use of AI applications and the obstacles encountered. The questionnaire included 30 items and was tested for validity and reliability. The sample consisted of (144) students from the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at King Faisal University in Al-Ahsa for the academic year 1445H. The key findings included: students' attitudes towards using AI applications were generally positive, and obstacles significantly affect the use of AI applications in Quran recitation. Based on these results, several recommendations were made, including: conducting training courses and workshops on how to use AI applications in Quran memorization and recitation programs, as well as providing the necessary resources to integrate AI applications into the educational process in general, and specifically in Quran applications.
