Higher Education commissions tasks and responsibilities are numerous and important to the contribution of the improvement of higher education and to ensure the quality of higher education outcomes. Perhaps social responsibility is one of the most important carried out by these commissions, one of its tasks is to provides the public with accurate and correct information about the higher education institutions, about the programs they offers and about the activities related to the functions of these institutions. It is also monitor the works of these institution to ensure measures in these institutions goes the right way. In this paper the researcher review, discuss and highlight the social responsibility for each of the higher education institutions and the commissions of higher education accreditation. It appears that there is an integration and correlation between the work of the higher education institutions and accreditation commission with regard to social responsibility. The study showed that the commitment to social responsibility is an important and necessary condition for development and progress of society, it is also necessary to improve the competitiveness of higher education institutions locally, regionally and internationally.
