The effectiveness of a program based on Mackay and Fanning principles in improving self-esteem and positive thinking factors among KFU students

Abstract

The aim of the paper is to investigate the effectiveness of a program based on the principles of MacKay and Fanning (2018) to a sample of (37) students from King Faisal University and it used the self-esteem scale of Copper Smith and a test to measure positive thinking
The results indicated that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the degrees of measurements: pre, post and follow-up of the sample individuals in the two variables (self-esteem and positive thinking) in favor of the post and follow up measurements; and that 43.7% of the variance in the scores of self-esteem scale and 59.6% of the variance in The scores of positive thinking test are attributable to the impact the program based the MacKay and Fanning Principles (2018) has had on the sample.
