Impact of Organizational Culture on Building a Learning Organization from Teachers Perspectives in Public Schools in Kuwait

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the impact of organizational culture on learning organization from the perspectives of teachers at public high schools in Kuwait. The study adopted a descriptive approach, utilizing a questionnaire as its tool, which is applied to available sample (n = 449) of teachers at Kuwaiti public high schools. The study arrived at several findings, including: (1) The participants' perceptions of the degree of organizational culture were generally high; (2) The participants' perceptions of learning organization were high; (3) Statistically significant differences were found between the means of the study sample's perceptions of organizational culture, attributed to the variable of sex in favor of males, while there were no differences according to the academic qualification variable; (4) Statistically significant differences were found between the means of the study sample's perceptions of learning organization, attributed to the variable of sex in favor of males, while there were no differences according to the academic qualification variable; and (5) There is a statistically significant positive impact of organizational culture on the learning organization according to their perceptions.
